The Parry Sound Area Municipal Airport (PSAMA) is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team for a one-year term.
The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter keen to gain hands-on experience in marketing and communications.

Reporting to the Airport Manager, the Marketing Intern will play a key role increasing the PSAMA’s profile.

Skills and Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in business administration, public relations, communications, marketing or related discipline.
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Understanding of marketing principles and industry trends
Social media campaign planning and execution

Responsibilities:
Contribute to the PSAMA marketing plan
Write and distribute media releases and advisories
Support events and special initiatives
Liaise with airport partners and stakeholders as appropriate
Update the airport website as required

This position is funded by the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) which, requires that the position is filled by an individual who:
Is a new entrant into the work force, transitioning to a new career, or unemployed/underemployed entering a new field
Has not previously participated in a NOHFC-funded internship
Is at least 18 years of age; and
Resides, and legally entitled to work, in Canada
Is able to work on site

Compensation: $45,000 to $55,000, 35-hour work week.
