Job Summary: We are seeking vigilant and qualified individuals to join our team as Waterpark Lifeguards. As a lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of guests enjoying our water park facilities. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities during our seasonal operation from June to September. Candidates must possess current lifeguard certification, CPR-C, and First Aid. Reliable transportation to and from work is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor waterpark attractions and lake perimeter to ensure guest safety.

2. Enforce waterpark rules and regulations to prevent accidents and maintain order.

3. Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, providing rescue and first aid as necessary.

4. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure operational safety.

5. Communicate with guests in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance and guidance as needed.

6. Collaborate with fellow lifeguards and staff to coordinate response to incidents and ensure smooth operations.

7. Participate in ongoing training sessions and drills to maintain proficiency in lifesaving techniques.

8. Assist with maintenance tasks as required, including cleaning and sanitizing work areas.

9. Provide exceptional customer service, enhancing the overall guest experience at the waterpark.

10. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

1. Current National lifeguard (NL) certificate

2. Current CPR-C and First Aid.

3. Strong swimming skills and physical fitness to perform rescue maneuvers.

4. Excellent observation and communication skills.

5. Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.

6. Dependable and punctual, with reliable transportation to and from work.

7. Prior experience as a lifeguard or in a related field is preferred but not required.

8. Must be at least 16 years old (age requirements may vary depending on jurisdiction).
