We are dedicated to providing safe, friendly, and dependable transportation services, and we are seeking experienced and responsible School Bus Drivers to contribute to our mission.
Position Overview: As a School Bus Driver with Hammondbus.com, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students in the Muskoka and Parry Sound area. You will be an essential member of our team, providing reliable transportation while upholding the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and community engagement.
Training and Development: We believe that comprehensive training is the foundation of success for our School Bus Drivers. Hammondbus offers in-house training led by seasoned professionals, covering safety protocols, driving techniques, and route familiarity through the picturesque Muskoka and Parry Sound region. Our engaging training program blends classroom instruction with hands-on experience, allowing you to immediately apply what you learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate school buses over designated routes and adhere to established schedules.
Ensure the well-being of students during transit, following all safety procedures and regulations.
Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior, creating a welcoming environment for passengers.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, school personnel, and company staff.
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and punctuality in all interactions.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong ability to follow directions and prioritize safety and professionalism.
Hours: 10 - 30 hours per week
Wages: Salary - $50.00 - $115.00 per day. Wages are route-specific and based on a competitive daily rate.
