Resort Operations and Maintenance

The Landscapes – Lake of Bays, a fractional ownership resort located in Baysville, Ontario, is looking for a Resort Operations & Maintenance team member, effective immediately.

1. The position will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of the resort, ensuring that the facilities and grounds are well-maintained, safe and appealing to owners and guests. Key responsibilities include third party contractor management, general repairs and preventative maintenance. Other responsibilities will include troubleshooting, basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry, groundskeeping, equipment operation and maintenance, safety inspections and adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) candidates are definitely preferred, but not initially required. The successful candidate will ultimately have to acquire CPO certification which will be arranged and paid for by The Landscapes.

2. All candidates should have a minimum of 10 to 15 years of prior hospitality industry experience along with strong organizational and communication skills. All O&M personnel will report directly to senior management. Initial on-site training and orientation will be provided.

3. Compensation for a 40.0-hour work week (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with 0.5 hours for lunch) will be commensurate with previous work experience. The work week will be Sunday through Thursday.

4. The successful candidate will be required to complete an initial six week probationary period.
