Description
Job Overview:
The Operations Manager’s main role is to assist the CEO in the day-to-day operations of the
business.
Duties:
● Reporting any issues/concerns to the CEO regarding specific clients and/or cleanings
● Coordinating bookings with clients; liaising with clients regarding cleanings and
responding to inquiries and complaints
● Establishing and implementing company policies and procedures
● Ensuring cleaning technicians are always following company protocols
● Disciplining/directing employees as necessary
● Planning, organizing, directing, and scheduling cleans and cleaning staff
● Preparing employee timesheets
● Preparing invoices and reports as required in Quickbooks
● Liaising with the accountant regarding all admin
● Supervising the cleaning team and inspecting worksites to ensure that cleans have been
performed to company standards prior to leaving the worksite
● Executing work orders and ensuring that each team is submitting them upon completion
● Planning and controlling inventory, and ensuring that all equipment and cleaning
materials are ready for use when needed
● Ordering any replacement supplies/equipment as needed
● Ensuring each short-term rental property has the requisite supplies; ordering
replacements as required
● Managing advertising for recruiting new clients and hiring new technicians
● Managing all social media platforms and the website
● Coordinating training for employees
● Maintaining the employee training manual and establishing/implementing policies and
procedures for staff
Requirements:
● A college diploma or higher-level education is required
● Experience in a Managerial role or equivalent is required
● Ability to work independently
● A keen eye for detail
● Complete working knowledge of Quickbooks Online
● Complete working knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to
Facebook and Instagram
● Knowledge of Squarespace for website material
● Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and clients
● Ability to quickly assess issues and formulate solutions
● Experience in the marketing or advertising field
● Must have clean driving record and own vehicle
