Night Supervisor – Northridge Inn
Location: Northridge Inn, 712 S Lake Bernard Rd, Sundridge, On Term: May – October 2025 (Part-time, with potential for full-time July–September) Compensation: $19–$21/hour (based on experience) | Evening & Overnight Shifts
Are you a night owl with a passion for hospitality and guest safety? Northridge Inn, a boutique luxury resort in Almaguin, is seeking a reliable and proactive Night Supervisor to oversee the resort’s evening operations. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for guest services, security, and ensuring the smooth running of the resort during nighttime hours.
Role Responsibilities:
● Act as the primary point of contact for guests and staff during evening and overnight shifts
● Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handling late arrivals and early departures
● Oversee the security and safety of the resort, guests, and team members, including coordinating emergency procedures if needed
● Conduct night audits, ensuring accurate financial reporting and daily reconciliation
● Monitor and maintain the presentation of key front-of-house areas, including light cleaning duties when required
● Respond to guest requests, including room service deliveries during nighttime hours
● Handle telephone inquiries and process basic hotel reservations
● Conduct regular and detailed security rounds, ensuring the property remains safe and secure throughout the night
● Address and resolve any guest complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction
● Uphold all resort policies and safety protocols, including emergency evacuation procedures
● Ensure cash handling and financial transactions follow resort standards
● Maintain clear and consistent communication with day staff, ensuring seamless shift transitions
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
● Strong guest service skills with a calm and professional demeanor
● Previous hospitality experience in a similar night role preferred
● Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure or emergency situations
● A responsible, detail-oriented approach to safety, security, and guest care
● Excellent communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English
● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns with empathy
● Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and general computer literacy
● A warm and approachable personality, with the ability to create a welcoming environment even after hours
