Line Cook Job Description – Northridge Inn
The Line Cook plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality dining experiences by preparing and plating dishes with care, consistency, and creativity. Working closely with the culinary team, the Line Cook ensures that meals are prepared according to
$17.20–$20/hour based on experience
Hours may increase to full-time during peak season (July–September)
Role Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards

Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients

Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and plated with attention to presentation

Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations throughout service

Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling and storage

Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and receiving deliveries

Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to manage orders during busy service times

Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

Contribute to closing and cleaning duties, including equipment maintenance

Assist with special functions, events, and seasonal menu changes as needed
