Job Opening: Mechanic Helper & Yard Person
Location: Port Carmen Marina
Duration: 2–3 Month Contract (with potential for seasonal position in 2026)
Start Date: Immediate

Port Carmen Marina is a vibrant waterfront destination serving boat and powersport enthusiasts, locals, and visitors with top-tier marine and powersport services. We’re currently seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Mechanic Helper/Yard Person for the remainder of the 2025 season.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist mechanic with boat and powersport maintenance and repairs
• Perform general yard duties including cleaning, organizing, and equipment handling
• Launch and retrieve boats using marina equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the yard and work areas
• Help with fueling, docking, and customer service as needed
• Operate basic tools and machinery

Qualifications:
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in learning
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver’s licence and boating licence preferred
• Skid steer, forklift and boat handling experience necessary
• Trailer movement capabilities
