Description

Field of Greens is a high end Gourmet Food Market located in the heart of Port Carling.  We are hiring qualified individuals to lead our bakery department through a busy 2026 season.  Estimated start date May 1, 2026, and estimated end date October 16, 2026

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders

  • Order baking supplies and maintain inventory

  • Bake mixed doughs and batters

  • Supervise baking personnel – 2 people

  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards

  • Inspect and maintain bakery work area

  • Operate equipment, ovens, proofer, mixers, sheeter

  • Prepare special orders

  • Work conditions and physical capabilities:
