HLD Muskoka is a long-standing company dedicated to its employees and clients. Situated in the town of Huntsville, Ontario we work hard in one of Canada’s most beautiful and sought-after regions. We build custom residential buildings, from excavation through to continued property maintenance. Our team of over 100 employees continue to drive our success. We are adding to our summer team and need energetic, fun, perfection seeking people to join our gardening team!

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD BE
- Plant and nurture new trees, flowers, and various plants
- Maintain and grow the garden to ensure it meets specific requirements and expectations
- Perform basic maintenance such as cutting the grass, managing weed control and leaf raking
- Work with hand tools and basic light machinery such as lawnmower and weed whacker
- Clean and organize all garden equipment/tools
- Maintain a clean garden by clearing leaves, branches, weeds and litter from the garden and grounds
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to safety and health regulations
- Perform additional duties as needed
THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU WILL NEED
- Energetic, positive and outgoing
- Physically fit
- Plant knowledge an asset
- Excellent time-management skills
- Able to do heavy lifting and work in all weather conditions
- Exceptionally detail oriented
- Desire to learn and take initiative
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Softscapes landscaping or previous similar experience considered an asset
- Currently enrolled in horticulture or similar program considered an asset
- Valid G licence and clean driving record
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
