Experienced Carpenter

Mark Lane Construction is looking for experienced carpenters who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and completing construction projects. Projects range from small residential renovations to large commercial projects. As a construction team member, you will work with others and independently on a range of job sites through the Muskoka-Parry Sound-Haliburton regions to ensure the projects are completed to the highest quality.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have

• a minimum of 2 years experience in carpentry work
• a minimum of grade 12 education

as well as knowledge of

• the Ontario Building Code
• operation of power tools and small equipment
• reading blueprints and drawings
• Health and safety regulations

The successful candidate will be responsible to supply their own steel-toed boots as well as basic tools.

Additional Qualifications:

The successful candidate may have:

• Working at Heights training
• First Aid Certificate
• CPR Certificate
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

• a valid driver’s license
• Carpentry certification from a post-secondary institution

Mark Lane Construction has been building in the Muskoka, Parry Sound, and Haliburton area for over 30 years. Construction projects include new home design/builds as well as commercial buildings in addition to both residential and commercial renovations.
