Gravenhurst Medical is looking for a full-time or part-time Family Physician to join the family Practice/Walk-in clinic. The clinic has a list of 4000 patients and more on the Ontario waiting list. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm located in PharmaChoice . Our aim is to grow organically into a multi practitioner and multiservice facility that serves the Muskoka & surrounding regions. We can accommodate Full or Part time Doctors as hours are flexible as you have the autonomy to run your own practice. Support, learning and Continuing Medical Education are all available.

The clinic uses Oscar pro EMR and offers billing support. Payment structure is currently fee-for-service*, with minimal overheads, and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $250,000 - $300,000.

Incentives Available to the Physician: NRRR Initiative $84,000 for each physician who practices full time in Gravenhurst for at least 4 years. ** The government has qualifying requirements for this incentive.  

Clinic Details: The clinic is open from Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 10am-2pm and closed on Sunday.  There is 1 full-time UK & Canada Certified GP, 1 part-time family physician currently on leave, a registered nurse, a diabetic educator, pharmacist, and a chiropractor all currently working in the clinic.

The clinic is located in PharmaChoice in downtown Gravenhurst in the main shopping area and within walking distance from the Lake and other areas of beauty.

Gravenhurst is a beautiful country style town located on the Lakes of Muskoka. During summer the population quadruples which positively affects our walk-in demand.
