Carpenter’s Helper

Mark Lane Construction is looking for carpenter’s helpers to join the team as we work on projects ranging from small residential renovations to large commercial projects. As a construction team member, you will work with others on a range of job sites through the Muskoka-Parry Sound-Haliburton regions to ensure the projects are completed to the highest quality.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have

• a minimum of grade 12 education

The successful candidate will be responsible for supplying their own steel-toed boots as well as basic tools.

Additional Qualifications:

The successful candidate may have:

• Working at Heights training
• First Aid Certificate
• CPR Certificate
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

• a valid driver’s license
• Carpentry certification from a post-secondary institution

as well as knowledge of

• the Ontario Building Code
• operation of power tools and small equipment
• reading blueprints and drawings
• Health and safety regulations

Mark Lane Construction has been building in the Muskoka, Parry Sound, and Haliburton area for over 30 years. Construction projects include new home design/builds as well as commercial buildings in addition to both residential and commercial renovations.
