Brake Press/Plasma Operator

• We are currently hiring for a BRAKE PRESS/PLASMA OPERATOR at our Huntsville Facility.  We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude and a great work ethic to join our team.

Job Type: Full-time.  Permanent Position.

Position Details:

• Set up and operate metal fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls shears, saws and press
• Operate plasma cutting machine to cut, bend, straighten and form metal plates, sheets and structural shapes according to blueprints and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications and shop order to determine machine set up, production methods and sequence of operations

Skills:

• 1 - 2 years brake press operating experience
• Previous manufacturing experience an asset.  On-site training is available
• Proficient in use of measuring tools
• Dependable with a positive attitude and an attention to detail
• Interest in cross-training beneficial
• Be knowledgeable in all shop Safe Work Practices
