Bartender/Server – Northridge Inn
Location: Northridge Inn, 712 S Lake Bernard Rd, Sundridge, Ontario Term: May – October 2025 (Part-time to Full-Time Hours Available) Compensation: $17.20–$25/hour (based on experience) | plus gratuities

Northridge Inn, a boutique resort in the beautiful Almaguin Highlands, is looking for dynamic and personable Bartenders/Servers to join our team for the 2025 season. In this dual role, you’ll serve guests during events and regular dining hours, ensuring memorable experiences from the first pour to the final plate.
Role Responsibilities:
● Greet guests warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional service
● Prepare and serve drinks following Northridge standards and Smart Serve regulations
● Take food and beverage orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations when needed
● Maintain a polished dining and bar area, including table setups, glassware, and linens for both daily service and special events
● Participate in pre-event meetings to understand specific event details and guest expectations
● Ensure timely service of food and beverages during events and regular dining hours
● Monitor guest satisfaction, replenish drinks, and check in throughout the experience
● Clear tables and reset spaces between courses or after events, maintaining a clean and organized environment
● Follow all liquor laws and safety protocols, including responsible alcohol service
● Assist in event setup and teardown as directed, ensuring smooth transitions between events
● Work collaboratively with the front-of-house, bar, and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service
● Follow attendance guidelines and maintain a consistent, professional presence during shifts
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
● Previous bartending or serving experience in a hospitality setting preferred
● A valid Smart Serve certification (required)
● Strong guest service skills and the ability to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere
● Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and etiquette
● The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
● A team-first attitude, ready to support co-workers and contribute to a collaborative work environment
● Excellent communication skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
● Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
