Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will contribute to an exceptional experience for our patrons.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food items are handled safely and stored properly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
• Manage time effectively to maintain workflow during peak hours while ensuring quality standards are met.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
• Proficient in cashiering and cash handling procedures, with attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
• A passion for coffee and a desire to learn about different brewing techniques is a plus.
• Smart Serve certified.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
