Assistant Service Coordinator – Northridge Inn

Location: North Muskoka, Ontario Term: May 2025 – October 2025 Compensation: $25/hour + gratuities | Full-time | Weekends & evenings required
Are you ready to dive into the world of hospitality management? Northridge Inn, a boutique luxury resort in Muskoka, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Service Coordinator to support our dining, bar, and event service teams during the 2025 season. This role offers hands-on experience in food & beverage operations, leadership, and guest service at one of Ontario’s most sought-after destinations.

Role Responsibilities:
● Assist in opening and closing the service department for the season, ensuring all dining and bar areas are fully prepped and compliant
● Manage bar orders, maintaining inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers for timely restocking
● Oversee the POS system, ensuring menu accuracy, processing updates, and resolving any technical issues
● Conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate records of bar, dining, and service supplies
● Supervise dining and bar service during peak times, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences
● Act as the key liaison between the kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams, maintaining efficient communication
● Assist with staff onboarding and training, ensuring team members understand operational procedures and service standards
● Collaborate with the Events team to coordinate bar and dining services for weddings and special events
● Engage directly with guests, addressing requests and ensuring an outstanding dining and bar experience
● Maintain detailed records of bar sales, inventory, and staff schedules

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
● 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or service management
● Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
● Excellent communication and leadership abilities
● Experience managing POS systems and overseeing inventory control
● A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high service standards
● A team-first attitude with flexibility to jump in wherever needed
● Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)
● Availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays throughout the season
● Smart Serve Certified
