Hours per week: 35

Work week: Mon-Fry, 9am-5pm

Requirement:

  • College Diploma/ Any Post secondary education
  • Sales Experience
  • Customer Service Experience is an asset

Job Description:

An Account Manager Trainee is expected to learn the fundamentals of Insurance with support from the staff on site. This would also be achieved through supporting other Account Managers. With increased knowledge of insurance, the Account Manager Trainee would be expected to write the Insurance Broker licensing exam to obtain a Registered Insurance Broker (RIBO) designation. This license is required to liaise with clients about insurance. With the RIBO designation, the Trainee becomes an Account Manager, and is trusted with a client base to service and expand. As the insurance knowledge and client base grows, as would the income.

Duties Include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to incoming calls and servicing client needs.
  • Help customers with billing related questions as well as policy changes.
  • Offer insurance advise to clients, process changes and enter changes into
  • BMS and company portals.
  • Give claims advise to clients, report claims and follow up on claims.
  • Provide quotes to new clients and cross sell existing accounts.

The Successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant sales and customer service experience
  • Desire and ability to create your own sales leads.
  • A strong customer focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be proficient in these skills:

Listen to need of clients and find solutions with our insurance company partners - Proficiency using our software system to access clients' needs-Counsel clients on options to provide best coverage for their value-Follow up with clients on processing of claims - Quote new and existing insurance policy using our software system and rating tools.
