Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning tasks in offices and commercial spaces. The current position is for 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 5:30pm and 8:30pm. There is an opportunity for more hours occasionally. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, maintain high cleaning standards, and contribute to a positive client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Follow cleaning schedules and client-specific instructions.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients and team members.
Qualifications:
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting and bending.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (an asset, depending on assignments).
