Job Overview:
Lakeland Airways / Three Buoys Houseboats is seeking a mechanically inclined and reliable individual to join our team for the summer season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and interacting with customers in a unique outdoor marina setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on houseboats and small marine engines
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems onboard vessels
• Prepare boats for customer use, ensuring all systems are safe and fully operational
• Respond to service calls both on the water and at the dock as needed
• Assist with docking, fueling, and general boat operations
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Provide friendly, helpful service and basic operational guidance to customers

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude (marine experience is an asset but not required)
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and able to work well with the public
• Valid driver’s license (boating experience is a plus)
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Compensation:

• Salary/wages will be based on experience
