Job Type: Part-Time / On-Call
Schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with occasional on-call shifts
Average Hours: 15–20 hours per week
Wage: $20.00 per hour
Position Summary
Sundridge Laundromat is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Laundromat Attendant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for customers while ensuring the laundromat operates smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundromat, including floors, machines, counters and other areas.
- Clean and sanitize washers, dryers and other equipment as required.
- Monitor the laundromat and provide assistance to customers when needed.
- Answer general customer questions and provide information about services.
- Check machines and report any maintenance or operational issues.
- Empty garbage and maintain supplies in designated areas.
- Follow proper cleaning, safety and workplace procedures.
- Complete general cleaning and maintenance duties as required.
- Respond to occasional on-call shifts when needed.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure the facility remains clean and presentable.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Reliable, punctual and responsible.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable performing cleaning and general maintenance duties.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds (9 kg).
- Ability to stand, walk and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Availability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Willingness to accept occasional on-call shifts when required.
- Previous cleaning, customer service or laundromat experience is an asset, but training can be provided.
