Role Overview
Northridge Inn & Resort is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Guest Room &
Facilities Attendants to join our team for the 2026 season. This role plays an
essential part in delivering the welcoming, relaxed luxury experience our guests
expect.
Guest Room & Facilities Attendants ensure guest rooms, public spaces, and
event areas are clean, organized, and beautifully presented. In addition to
housekeeping responsibilities, this role provides occasional support with event
setup and tear-down, light grounds maintenance, and facility preparation
during key periods of the season.

Employment Term & Schedule
This is a seasonal, fixed-term, part-time position.
Employment is expected to run approximately:
May 2026 – October 2026
Schedules will vary based on operational needs and will include:
• Evenings
• Weekends
• Holidays
• High-volume wedding and event dates
Employment will conclude at the end of the seasonal contract term unless
otherwise extended in writing. There is no guarantee of renewal or extension
beyond the stated contract period.
Depending on operational needs, early start opportunities may be available for
candidates who are able to assist with spring property preparation and seasonal
opening tasks.
Guest Room & Facilities Attendants may also assist with end-of-season closing
procedures, including cleaning, organizing, and preparing facilities for
winterization.
Work schedules will vary based on operational needs and will include
weekends, holidays, and high-volume changeover days.
Compensation
$17.60 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience.
This position is not eligible for gratuities or tip pools.
Staff accommodation is not provided for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Room Preparation
• Clean and prepare guest rooms following Northridge cleanliness and
presentation standards
• Make beds, replace linens and towels, and restock guest amenities
including toiletries, coffee, and glassware
• Remove garbage, recycling, and room service items from guest rooms
• Ensure guest rooms are visually welcoming, clean, and ready for incoming
guests
Public Space & Facility Care
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, dining areas,
meeting spaces, washrooms, hallways, and the bridal suite
• Regularly clean and sanitize high-traffic areas such as stairways, corridors,
and entrances
• Empty garbage and recycling bins throughout the property
• Support the cleanliness and organization of back-of-house areas including
staff spaces and service areas
• Maintain and restock housekeeping carts and cleaning supplies
Event & Operational Support
• Assist with event setup and tear-down, including arranging tables, chairs,
linens, and décor elements as directed
• Support the preparation and reset of event spaces between functions
• Assist operations and facilities teams with light grounds upkeep, including
tidying patios, walkways, and outdoor guest areas
• Provide assistance during seasonal opening and closing activities,
including cleaning, organizing equipment, and preparing facilities for
operational readiness or winterization
Team Collaboration
• Work collaboratively with facilities, administrative, events, service, and
operations teams
• Communicate maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors
promptly
• Respond efficiently to guest requests or operational needs as directed by
supervisors
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and proper cleaning
protocols
Guest Experience Expectations
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and guest-focused presence while
working in guest areas
• Greet guests politely and offer assistance or direct them to the
appropriate team member when needed
• Respect guest privacy, including adherence to “Do Not Disturb” signage
• Maintain discretion and professionalism when working around guests
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
• A strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, organized spaces
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Strong communication and reliability
• Willingness to assist across departments when operational needs require
• Previous housekeeping, hospitality, or cleaning experience is an asset but
not required
Students and individuals seeking entry-level hospitality experience are

Applicants must have reliable transportation to and from the property.
Physical Requirements
This role is physically active and requires:
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and stair use
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
• Working both indoors and outdoors during various weather conditions
when supporting facility or grounds tasks
Reporting Structure
Reports directly to the:
Operations & Facilities Manager
Daily assignments and priorities will typically be reviewed at the beginning of
each shift.
