General Labourer – Scrap Metal Yard
Thompson's Iron & Metal Inc. – Gravenhurst, ON
Full-time, Monday to Friday

We're a fast-growing scrap metal processing and demolition company based in Gravenhurst, and we're looking for a hard-working general labourer to join our yard crew.

What you'll be doing:

• Sorting and grading ferrous and non-ferrous metals
• Loading and unloading trucks and bins
• Breaking down scrap by hand and with power tools
• Keeping the yard clean, organized, and safe
• Assisting equipment operators and torch crew as needed
• Other duties as assigned — no two days are the same

What we're looking for:

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors year-round in all weather
• Reliable — you show up on time, every day, ready to work
• Able to take direction and work as part of a small crew
• Safety-minded with steel-toe boots and a good attitude
• Experience with hand/power tools, torches, or heavy equipment an asset but not required — we'll train the right person
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to the yard
