POSITION: Business Development Administrator (BDA)
STATUS: Full-time, Monday to Friday (10am to 4pm)
LOCATION: North Bay Ontario
WORK MODEL: Onsite
RATE: 35hrs Per week ($20/hr)
START DATE: Monday, June 8 2026

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Business Development Administrator is responsible for supporting the company’s business growth initiatives through client outreach, relationship management, sales administration, lead generation support, and operational coordination. This role is ideal for a highly motivated professional who is comfortable working within a small but collaborative team environment while also operating independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the company build & expand its client base, strengthen existing relationships, and support overall commercial operations.
The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, a business development mindset, excellent organizational abilities, and the confidence to take initiative, solve problems, and contribute meaningfully to a growing organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Lead business development initiatives aimed at acquiring new clients and expanding company revenue.
•Initiate lead generation tasks, prospect research, and outreach coordination.
•Identify potential business opportunities within the logistics, transportation, courier, and supply chain sectors.
•Support the preparation and follow-up of client proposals, quotations, presentations, and service agreements.
•Coordinate prospective client meetings, calls, and follow-up communications.
•Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, prospects, and strategic partners.
•Onboard new clients and ensuring a smooth transition into operations.
•Maintain a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for company growth.
•Conduct market and competitor research to identify industry trends and business opportunities.
•Monitor developments within the courier, freight, transportation, and logistics industries.
•Assist leadership with compiling business reports, pipeline updates, and growth metrics.
•Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
•Respond to inquiries regarding company services, pricing, and logistics solutions.
•Support the resolution of customer concerns in collaboration with the team.
Qualifications & Experience
•Diploma or degree in: Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Commerce or a related field
•Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Business development support, Sales administration, Logistics or transportation administration, Customer relationship management, Corporate administrative support.
