Carpenter, Framer- Lead Hand

Sustainment Construction specializes in structural framing and exterior cladding on custom homes across Muskoka. We’ve been at it for eleven years, and we’ve been trusted with some of the most prestigious projects in Muskoka — work that speaks to our craftsmanship, integrity, and service.

This is a hands-on framing role. Day to day, on the tools framing custom homes — layout, floor systems, walls, roofs, and beams.

We’re looking for someone with solid framing experience who is detail-oriented, takes pride in clean, accurate work, and understands the complexities of framing.

This role reports to the Framing Manager. The person in this role will be required to act as a leader from time to time.

Crew Lead duties

Supporting the team

Answering questions from other crew members

Maintaining work momentum to meet project timelines

Maintaining and ensuring the quality standard is upheld at all times

Requirements

Strong framing experience — floor systems, walls, roofs, and beam work

A real eye for detail

Leadership ability and the willingness to run the crew and keep the job on track as needed
