Job Description: Heavy Truck Technician 310T
421A would be considered at asset.

Responsibilities:

• Perform shop-based repairs, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of heavy trucks and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic issues and troubleshoot problems efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections and annual safety inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Repair or replace faulty components, powertrain parts, and hydraulic systems as needed.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety before it returns to service.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical support and assistance to customers as required.
• Strictly follow all shop safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements and qualifications.

• Licensing: Valid 310T (Truck and Coach)
• Experience with 421A (Heavy Duty Equipment) is considered an asset.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced diagnostic/troubleshooting skills.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and components.
• Familiarity with modern diagnostic software, as well as hand and power tools used in equipment repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and your own tools.
