Job Summary
We are seeking 2-3 skilled and reliable Cooks to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidates have a passion for Italian cuisine, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Ensure all food meets quality control standards before serving
- Maintain inventory and accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas to uphold sanitation standards
- Sharpen and maintain kitchen knives and tools
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Qualifications
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience preparing Italian cuisine is an asset
Work Environment
- Fast-paced, high-energy kitchen setting
- Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
