Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Solar Installation Assistant to support our installation team in delivering high-quality solar energy systems. This role involves assisting with the setup, installation, and maintenance of solar panels and related equipment on residential and commercial sites. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to learn about renewable energy systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of solar panels on rooftops, ground mounts, and other designated locations. Additionally assist with installing electrical components
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to job sites
- Support site preparation, including measuring, marking, and basic layout tasks
- Use hand and power tools under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Assist with system testing and basic troubleshooting
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time while maintaining high safety standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous construction, roofing, or electrical experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, climbing ladders, working at heights)
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
