Duties & Qualifications:
About the Opportunity
Turf Care Products, Head Office located in Newmarket, Ontario is currently looking for an enthusiastic individual with a great attitude to join our team. We are currently looking for a Turf Equipment Technician – Field Service who can start as soon as possible to cover our Northern Ontario Territory. We offer a competitive compensation plus commissions on billable hours and parts sales, company bonus and RRSP matching, paid training,

Responsibilities include:
• Technical repair and support for all our commercial turf products.
• Engaging with customers and sales staff in an efficient courteous manner.
• Responding to customer repair requests by scheduling & completing service calls within the assigned territory.
• Using manufacturer resources to obtain part numbers and repair procedures.
• Communicating with administration staff to open and close work orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized Field Service vehicle.
Requirements:
Skills:

• Effective interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Easily adaptable to changing priorities and schedules.

Qualifications:
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in the repair of gasoline and diesel engines.
• Strong ability to diagnose electrical and hydraulic issues.
• Experience with golf cars an asset.
• Must be able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience with turf equipment an asset
• Good Computer skills and able to use Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Completion of an Apprenticeship program or equivalent an asset.
• Valid Certificate or in progress of a qualification in small engines, automotive service, or similar an asset.
