Project Manager
PuroClean has an opportunity for a Project Manager in our North Simcoe & Muskoka branch.

Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the sales activities of the office directly with the customer or insurance representative, and for the price estimating of all jobs. The Project Manager maintains and improves the office’s competitive position through good customer service, while insuring maximum sales revenue at minimum cost through the best use of estimating.
Initiates initial customer contact and first customer visit.
Interacts with clients to develop applicable solutions that will respond to their situation and needs
Educates the client on the process of repair, the timing of service delivery and realistic expectations from this process
Prepares accurate quotations through job costing and estimation, ensuring target margins are met.
Manages all aspects of water claims i.e. mitigation, equipment selection, equipment staging, psychometrics and reports.
Delivers exceptional customer service to insurance stakeholders, homeowners, and property managers.
Ensure Job sites are compliant with safety policies & procedures, & that all employees, subcontractors, & other parties involved are compliant.
Meets with customers and prescribes and prices restoration processes & a recommended initial Action Plans.
Provides complete cost and price estimating for claims’ losses and any resulting customer upgrades or supplemental charges.
Timely coordinates with the Production Coordinator any initial Construction services needs.
Documents & photographs Pre-existing damages & communicates coverage issues to the customer
Documents Scopes of Loss with photographs and damaged materials samples.
Coordinates with adjusters for site meetings, coverage limitations, and special safety needs of customers or crews.
Performs regular site visits to confirm work performed by subtrades, & maintain a high level of quality control
Estimates and prepares Change Orders for customer additions or upgrades.
Completes Materials Selection Sheets with any initial Special Order materials, and communicates with the Production Coordinator any materials not picked up.
Discusses and determines communication protocol with customers.
Acts as liaison for job needs between customers and the Production Coordinator, including arranging and attending pre-job conferences, and any work quality issues.
Continues to recruit the best Subtrades for their specific tasks.
Adjudicates warranty issues
Education & Experience
University degree or college diploma in business, engineering, or construction management preferred
Experience in the restoration/emergency industry
Desired Certifications
Water Remediation Technician (WRT) certification
Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician certification (FSRT)
Certification in mould remediation an asset but will train
Skills & Knowledge
Detailed understanding of reconstruction practices for property that has suffered water, wind, mould, fire and vandalism damages
Knowledge of building codes and electrical, or plumbing, or mechanical and related codes
Knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
Proficiency in MS Office Skills (Excel, Word and Outlook).
Experience with XactAnalysis is a definite asset.
Basic accounting competency with an understanding of invoicing, billing procedures
Experience planning and monitoring budgets
