Position: Member Services Coordinator; Full time, year-round. Reports to: Executive Director Start Date: ASAP Wage: $20/hour – 35 hours per week, includes benefits.Why work with us? Skills & Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Business Development, Communications/ Marketing, or related experience.
- Proactive, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional verbal communication, reading, writing, and editing skills.
- Ability to deal tactfully with other staff members and the general public.
- Online media and internet marketing experience.
- Interest in learning Office programs, WordPress, Mailchimp, Quickbooks.
- Excellent time management skills, ability to work with timelines, and multitask.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Adaptive to challenging work, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license, and use of personal vehicle.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
- Available to work full-time, with the flexibility to work in the evenings and on weekends when necessary.
- Willingness and ability to move around Gravenhurst for various events and activities – on foot, bicycle, or driving – is important. Mileage paid if you’re driving.
- Cell phone suitable for social media; $100/month expense paid for cell usage.
- Requirement for sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting and in a special event environment; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; walk on uneven terrain, loose soil, and sloped surfaces; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations; to operate equipment and vehicle.
