Housekeeper – 1 vacancy

Hours of Work: 40-44 per week, 8-hour shifts, Seasonal

Wages: $17.00-$22.00 per hour + tips

Duties & Qualifications:

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, duties include:
• Provide professional and friendly service to all resort guests
• Clean and refresh facilities daily, including guest cabins and common guest areas
• Perform opening duties as directed by your manager including but not limited to setting up work areas and stocking of supplies, etc.
• Perform closing duties as directed by your manager and according to the daily checklist, preparing bins for the next day, checking stock levels, etc.
• Perform other cleaning duties as required throughout the day
• Duties do not include laundry as it is done offsite.

Requirements:

As a seasonal hospitality business, you may be required to work holidays, weekends, split shifts, and on occasion 6-day weeks. Since we are a smaller resort, we are able to give our guests personalized attention. The successful candidate should be outgoing and possess a natural talent for customer service.

This is a full-time contract position located in Algonquin Park. The anticipated start date is May 6th, 2023 until the end of our season on October 25th, 2023. You must be able to complete the entire season to be considered for this position.
