Camp Winston – Muskoka requires Communications & Fundraising Coordinator to support the Camp Winston Development Manager and support the Marketing/Communications role. June 14th – August 31st 2021

Hours of Work: Monday through Friday and will be based from a home office. Must be flexible to work on-site at camp as needed.
Wages: 35 Hours per week, $16.00 per hour
Duties & Qualifications:

The main element of the role is to assist with communications through our different media
channels. This would include digital campaigns, website updates, social media posting and
media kits.
● Social media plan and posts
● 30th anniversary media kit development and distribution
● Develop Camp Winston Media Kit, Fact Sheet, FAQ, Backgrounder
● Basic website updates through the summer
● Helping to draft donor emails and end of session impact reports
The main element of the role is to assist with donor relations and participate in fundraising
efforts which include prospecting, grant writing and tax receipting.
● Work with the Development Manager to ensure the donor database is up to date
● Assist in the creation and formatting of templates for various fundraising and event
● Assist the Development Manager with drafting grant proposals
● Assist with planning a virtual fundraising event
● Research and create prospect lists for fundraising opportunities
● Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor and/or GM

Police check & Drivers License
● 18 – 30 years of age
● Currently enrolled in secondary or post secondary, recent graduate of program
● Must have laptop with wifi capability
● Requirement for sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting and in
a special event environment; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally
stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; walk on uneven terrain, loose soil, and sloped
surfaces; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight; to operate
office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard
