Hours of Work: Monday to Friday Split shift (mornings and afternoons)
Wages: 17-17.50 per hour
Duties & Qualifications:
| School Bus Drivers are responsible for safely transporting what we call “the most precious cargo” to and from school while ensuring students’ safety while boarding and exiting buses. School Bus Drivers are also responsible for performing pre/post- trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safety, documenting and reporting according to provincial and company regulations, and complying with company and provincial regulations, laws and policies. |
Requirements:
| The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to, the following: Be at least 21 years of age Possess clean driving record and Criminal Record Search Meet medical standards Possess a minimum of a full G class license Great customer service and communication skills in order to interact with passengers, parents, school employees, co-workers and the general public in a courteous and professional manner. Ability to work independently Have a safety-first philosophy Have a sound knowledge of the region of the assigned school route and surrounding areas |
