Seasonal Pest Control Technician (Independent Work + Paid Training)

Mosquito Busters is hiring reliable, self-motivated Seasonal Pest Control Technicians to join our team.

This role involves providing pest control services, treatments, inspections, and consultations for residential properties across Muskoka and Parry Sound.

We’re growing our team and looking for a hardworking, motivated individual who enjoys problem-solving and helping people. We offer training and mentorship from experienced technicians, hands-on field experience, and support in obtaining your exterminator license.

This position is ideal for students, retirees, or anyone who enjoys working outdoors and independently. The role requires responsibility, dependability, and a strong work ethic.

What You’ll Do

• Drive a company vehicle to scheduled residential properties
• Apply mosquito control treatments to yards, foliage, and shaded areas
• Walk properties carrying a backpack sprayer (approximately 50 lbs)
• Manage your own service route independently
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Maintain equipment and complete service notes

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with 5+ years of clean driving experience
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Physically able to carry a 50 lb backpack sprayer
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
• Professional and respectful when interacting with customers

This is a physically demanding position requiring walking properties, carrying equipment, and managing a company vehicle and daily route.
